Biography
Andrew joined OMERS Growth Equity in 2019. In his role as an Associate Director, he supports the origination, evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, along with asset management activities for existing investments.
Prior to joining OMERS, Andrew was an Associate in Equity Research at Canaccord Genuity where he covered Special Situations & Sustainability. Prior to Canaccord, he was with BMO Capital Markets as an Investment Banking Analyst in their Metals and Mining team.
Andrew earned his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the Smith School of Business, at Queen’s University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys playing pick-up basketball or relaxing at a cottage.
Andrew grew up in Whitby, Ontario. Outside of work you can find him playing basketball or unabashedly cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs. He would love to have Steve Jobs (from the early Apple days) over for dinner as his unique personality has always interested him. Andrew is passionate about elder care with an emphasis on dementia.
