Biography
Thomas joined the OMERS Growth Equity team as an Associate in 2021. In his role as Associate, he supports the origination, evaluation and execution of investment opportunities across the software and fintech verticals, along with asset management for existing investments.
Prior to joining Growth Equity, Thomas was in the OMERS rotational program, spending time with the Global Equities, Infrastructure and Venture teams respectively.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
Thomas grew up in London, Ontario and is currently based in Toronto. Outside of the office you can find him watching soccer, getting active and reading (his two favourite books are Say Nothing by Patrick Radden Keefe and Confidence Men by Ron Suskind). He enjoys the Slow Burn and Slate podcasts and his favourite app is Twitter. If Thomas was not working in investing, he’d try his hand at financial journalism.
