Biography
Wilson joined OMERS Growth Equity in 2021. In his role as an Associate Director, he supports the origination, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities.
Prior to joining OMERS, Wilson was an Associate at HarbourVest Partners where he focused on direct private equity / growth equity investments across software, business services and healthcare.
Wilson received a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with high distinction) in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto.
In his spare time, Wilson enjoys playing soccer and tennis.
Wilson grew up in Foshan, China, a mid-sized city known for its martial arts history. Outside of work you can find him doing a horrible Lionel Messi impression at a Sunday soccer league game in Toronto. Wilson enjoys listening to The All-In Podcast and his favourite app is Reddit. If he wasn’t an investor Wilson would like to work in the sports analytics field.
